What CEOs Want From The IT Organization:
Charting a Course Through Challenging Times
Introduction to the Event -
The 2009 Strategy Series for Executives will attract 100 CIOs/IT leaders and C-level executives from the greater Memphis area. The CIO and his team have a huge job to do. Roles and responsibilities are forever changing. The CIO is no longer the technology person. CEOs want them to be business people first and foremost. For these reasons, we have designed the program to span the needs of today’s CEOs and CIOs.
The Strategy Series will start at 7:30 am with registration and close at 6:30 pm following a cocktail reception. The sessions will cover the key subject areas affecting business and IT today. Ample time will be allowed for networking.
This event is the primary funding vehicle for community programs sponsored by SIM Memphis. These programs include its annual week-long Teen Tech Camp which is conducted each summer in partnership with the Memphis Public Library, IT Career Day for college students, funding for SIM-sponsored educational programs at the STAX Music Academy, and SIM IT scholarship programs at both the University of Memphis and Lemoyne-Owen College.
